Sita Kund

It is located in East Champaran about 20 km south from Motihari. It is believed that the wedding procession of Shri Ram had stayed here for a night. The bangle of Sita ji had fallen in the Kund (pond). The Kund has a natural source of water which is associated with Ganga, near this place. All the member of marriage party had taken bath at this place. The temple of Sita Ram ji and Girija Nath ji are located near this place, where the wedding party worshipped Lord Shiva.
