This place is located near Mau. At this place, one can see the confluence of River Tons and old Saryu. An ancient lord Shiva temple with 12 doors is situated here. That's why it is called Baarduwaria. Even today in the month of Kartik (as per hindu calendar) on the day of full moon (Kartik Poornima), a big fair is organised. As per folk lore sage Vishwamitra had taken Shri Ram and Laxman by this route.
