At this place, Shri Ram did not come himself. When Hanuman ji was going to fetch the Sanjeevani medicine for an unconscious Laxman ji, a demon named Kalnemi tried to stop him unsuccessfully. Here, Hanumanji became the saviour for a female crocodile named Makri and also killed Kalnemi. The place is also known as Mahaviran.
