Sita Kund

Since Shri Ram ji and Sita ji were responsible for the killing of Ravana, who was a Brahmin, they were accused of Brahmahatya.  To pay the penance, Shri Ram and Sita ji performed a yagya (ritual prayer) at this place and offered gold to Brahmins in huge quantities.
