Subahu Diha

There is an ancient hillock in the forest near Chitbada village of Balia. It is considered to be house of Subahu. Sujayat word emerged from Subahu. During the excavation near the hillock, some utensils, a fire place and kauris were found. An ancient Pokhra (Small water pool) also came into existence after the excavation near the hillock. A village called Marchi is about 1/2 km. form this place. It is considered as the village of Maarich. As the village is no more situated here and has resettled at some other place, only the name of Maarich is left.
