The Hermitages (Ashram) of Shringi Rishi is Situated on the top of a hill near the town. On another nearby hill here is an ascetic’s place of Ma Shanta. There is a path over these hills from Shringi Ashram to Shanta Mandir. Now a days Ma Shanta is worshipped as Sheetla mata.
