It is believed that Shri Ram was very embarrassed after he had killed Tadaka because prior to this, no one in his family had ever killed a female. Then, he worshipped Lord Shiva. Now, the Rameshwar Nath temple is at the same place. It is nearby the Ram Rekha Ghat.
