The word Kodanda means bow. An ancient temple located inside the sea has beautiful idols of Shri Ram, Laxman, Hanuman, Sugreeva, Jambavantha and Vibhishana. This is the same place where Vibhishana had come in the shelter of Shri Ram and he had performed the coronation ceremony.
