Here, Shri Ram and Sita had stayed for a night. Nishad Raj Guha had made a grass bed for them. Even today, a grass-bed and an Engudi Tree are preserved in their memory. There is a spot near by named Veerasan where Laxman had seated himself on a Vajrasana to perform the duties of a gaurd through the night.
