Rameshwar

Lord Shiva had come to this place with his family so that Shri Ram could have the worship. It is located in village Ram Teerth of Athani Taluka. Lord Shiva had accepted the worship in four ways; decoration of Shivlinga, the name given by Shri Ram “Rameshwar”, the hot water welcome bath and worship with Ketaki flowers. All these 4 traditions of worship still exist in this area.
